FLORIDA SKY is based on my photographof a blazing orange, red, and pink sky as the sunshine turns to dusk. Its bands of color are stacked on top of each other, sometimes highlighted with clouds full of movement or simply of calm. This highly textured mixed media painting is the second in my series of SKYSCAPES.
